SIP or Mutual funds which is better?

SIP means a Systematic Investment Plan where we invest as low as 500/- Rs on a monthly basis where there is no requirement for a lumpsum amount like it is required in mutual funds. The risk is minimum as compared to mutual funds. Overall, we see both SIPs and mutual funds as good investment options. If you are a salaried employee or a low-income group, then SIP can be a great investment option. Mutual funds may be a better option for an investor who is willing to take on high risks and has a lump sum of money to invest. But it all depends on the risk-taking capacity of the investor. Mutual funds are appropriate for high-risk investors, while SIPs are appropriate for low-risk investors.
